teacher's day

         The idea of celebrating Teacher's Day took ground independently in many countries during the XX century; in most cases, they celebrate a local educator or an important milestone in education (for example, Argentina celebrates Domingo Faustino Sarmiento's death on September 11 since 1915^[2], while India celebrates Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan's birthday on September 5 since 1962^[3]). These two factors explain why almost all countries celebrate this day on different dates, unlike many other International Days.
        Teachers' Days are intended to be special days for the appreciation of teachers. World Teachers' Day is celebrated across the world on October 5th^[1]. Ever since the importance of teachers has been recognized by UNESCO, by adopting the “Recommendation concerning the status of teachers”, World Teachers' Day has been celebrated annually. This includes celebrations to honor the teachers for their special contribution in a particular field area or the community in general.

intramural day

The intramural program offers a wide variety of individual, team, and meet sports. Participants number in the thousands each year.  Intramural sports are scheduled competitive and recreational activities. Teams are organized from fraternity, sorority, residence hall, independent, co-rec, and faculty/staff groups. If needed, you may find a team to participate with by using the team/player wanted board located in the Intramural Gallery on the main floor of the Recreation Complex.  Intramural activities are offered for both men and women. Men generally compete in three divisions: fraternity, residence hall, or independent. However, for some activities all men are grouped together in an open division.  Women compete in one division.  The co-rec division is open to any person who is eligible to participate.  Spouses may compete on co-rec teams only when both spouses are participating members of the same team.  Faculty and staff may participate in a student division or in the faculty/staff division in specific activities.

what is friendship?

friendship is considered to be closer than association, although there is a range of degrees of intimacy in both friendships and associations. Friendship and association can be thought of as spanning across the same continuum.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of internet?

 advantages- we get more information and it's easier to search on Internet than to search on libraries/books.

disadvantages- waste a lot of time in chatting or to play games.
